Service Implementation Manager Data Center Migration

  • Responsible for technical implementation of vital DHL live web presence from Frankfurt to Prague, as well as accepting the service in-take from external ISP in Frankfurt to DHL Internal Datacenter in Prague.
  • Coordinate the entire 80 Instances of Oracle 3 Tier DB infrastructure between developers in Bonn, Germany and Prague, Czech Republic, making sure instances, data structures and services owners aligned with stakeholder objectives. This includes network load test, user interface, patches, external vendors and license fulfillment.
  • Performed hardware QA on over 50 Linux load-balance rack servers using top to bottom approach to avoid commons issues like memory, hard disk or network interface failures, using majority of the internal Linux OS bundled tools.
  • Providing bi-weekly status report over webcast in consideration to green environments between 4 countries and Europe.
  • Inspect the installation of first ever Google search box at DHL from procurement to operation.
